They're not scousersSaw The Coral a couple of times when they first came out, but was underwhelmed by them each time - not sure if them being professional Scousers turned me off a bit.
The Wirrall - Scouse enough when you are from SunderlandThey're not scousers
Missed seeing them live until their second album. Never go too long without listening to them, but it's usually their first album I stick with.Saw The Coral a couple of times when they first came out, but was underwhelmed by them each time - not sure if them being professional Scousers turned me off a bit.
I saw them during the Relationship of Command tour and they were incredible. That's still one of my favorite records of all time. I did like the first Mars Volta album when it came out but then their albums just started getting a little too "out there" for me. I saw them live once and it was just like one massive song. I couldn't recognize any of the songs because they completely changed how they sounded on the album. It was like a massive jam section. Not for me. I'm glad they are back as At The Drive-In.I've loved ATDI since the original record came out and its bugged me for years that I'd never seen them. Finally corrected that earlier this month. They were excellent.
Saw Billy Idol last night, he was shite. Seeing Ziggy Marley tonight.

I saw Damian "Jr Gong" Marley at a reggae festival here in Long Beach some years back when "Welcome To Jamrock" came out. Sadly, I have never had a chance to see Ziggy![]()

new stuff sounded great.just not on,for long enough.
My heart bleeds for them. I was stranded in Acton for a whole fuckin year.Went to Citadel festival on Sunday.....
The 30 degree sun wasn't great when there was barely anywhere in the shade to sit/stand. The beer was both crap and warm aswell...
Fat White Family were the highlight for me, followed by Goat, and Shame. The Horrors only played 4 songs!
Wasn't really bothered about seeing Tame Impala so left a bit earlier because i was knackered from the sun. A cracking move when i read that people were left stranded in Acton because of the queues for the Tube.

Quite fancy seeing Speedy, they've never came to the NE, unfortunately.
I like Drinks too, but thought the new album was pretty poor.
