They can take the piss about league one by all means we deserve to be there by poor managers and ownership but don’t ever let them forget we own them, those contstant dry humpings every season broke them beyond repair

We still f***ing own them, and we will continue to own them next season when our rightful days of lashing the fuckers will return.

Bookmarked ....the bitterest post ever and the reason we laugh at you.6inarow marra.

We'll done. On the day your daughter was born, we had never been in the third tier. When your daughter goes into her year 4 classroom in September, we still won't have been in the third tier.

Only Brighton, Burnley, Cardiff and Wolves have lower record amongst current PL teams. A good chance any of those 4 might beat them in the coming weeks.

This isn't a them and us post btw I was just genuinely shocked by that stat given they've spent all bar two of those seasons in the PL and have regularly had the 3rd/4th highest average attendance in that time. Probably a grain of truth that the top players in the game don't want to come to the NE too tbf.
What ?! Even with a 'walled class managa' who will soon put them under his 'cult' spell and declare undying alliegiance to the 'Nashun'

And if we start winning we will enjoy every bit of it just like you lot did in the championship. My mag mates enjoyed that season in the championship better than any season for years

Man City have you know one of the biggest clubs in the world and the current champions.

Must admit, the prospect of meeting them in the Championship would be wonderful.
One club with momentum after a total rebuild, the other in uproar. Would only be one winner

Not sure what your point is.
I'm not sure they count it as an achievment or something that goes hand in hand with their current success. That's probably the lowest point in their history.
My point is that even clubs like city wolves Leeds have been in division 3 just shows that even big clubs can have low Spells but can easily bounce back its all part of their history

Well wolves have had what? 3 top flight seasons in the last 15 years?
Leeds haven't been top flight since 2004.
Man City went into the 3rd division in 1998 and quite a lot has happened since then.

Apart from man city and Southampton most of the other former PL clubs that have been in division 3 in the last 20 years haven't really done well in establishing themselves back in the top flight.
Sheff Wed, Forest, Wigan, Portsmouth, Leeds, Blackburn, Sheffield United, Charlton, Blackpool, Bradford, Bolton probably others

If they dont finish as champions it will be their lowest point in their history.....but thats ok we beat the mags blah blah blah, i swear they dont realise how far they have fallen, its like they are paying for players with chickens and pigs.

Wolves will finish above you lot this season imo that's have far they've come.

Im more optimistic about our future than I was a year ago just gonna go with it and see how it goes, I'm quite looking forward to this season as are most safc fans

Life has moved on.you have zero chance this side of 2022 of ever being in the PL, if you dont come up as champions of the 3rd division it will be a disaster, bookies have yous as clear favs, once IF you do it then you will need millions and millions to get back in the PL,where is that coming from? A raffle? Fans bbq?

Did Cardiff, Burnley, Bournemouth Southampton need millions and millions to get back to the premier league. I know you lot did but that's Rafa for you but really good managers can spot a talent and buy them cheap like dyche etc.

As for the money side I've no idea how it's going to pan out if we get back to the premier league I know satori and his family will be more involved apparantly so maybe the money might come from there

I can understand that.
It's more fun winning most weeks than it is scrapping about for points. Really enjoyed our last two promotion seasons because when it goes well you fancy yourselves in every game and you're playing towards something.
Its nice being in the top flight obviously, but its more fun winning 30 games in a season and being the biggest team in the league that everybody wants to beat than it is hoping to get 40 points asap, but i imagine its nice to visit and have a good season and get out of it rather than a decade of it like fans of clubs like Derby or Leeds
