On a Newcastle forum they are going onto sports direct website and adding loads of items to their basket without buying them. They actually think this means someone in a warehouse will be taking loads of items of the selves and it'll piss Ashley off. Mags aren't the brightest

Why you looking at a mag forum...saddo

Would you Sunderland lads have been fuming had Benitez been given the job after Allardyce?
If he relegated us and replaced our better players with inferior players, then I wouldn’t be particularly happy. I certainly wouldn’t call him a messiah, but that’s just me, obviously you have a different opinion.

By your logic we could spend £15m on transfer fees for league 1 this season and we won't have invested much because of 'net spend', aye?
I like it, when all the other teams accuse us of buying the league we can be like "But, but net spend yer knar"

Better than Corrie this petals.

Look at the stir our manager causes.i take it as a compliment lads.keep going

Does that mean anything now?

Not when the poster cant grasp the fact how much money he also received in transfer fees in those 8 years.would he like to post that? Then you can see how much came out the till.

Quite staggering to see the basic concept of how a business operates, being written off as not worth talking about.
Laughable in fact.

Hi Reggie - I hope you are well. Its usually because net spend is used as a default for Rafa's disciples. People fully understand the concept of net spend but also understand there is context. When you were relegated for example you brought in 60 million for Sissoko and Wijnaldum who hadn't really contributed in your relegation season with the former often getting slagged off. Rafa was still left with some exceptional players for championship standard and spend around 80 million on top of that meaning the net spend wasn't as high as say Huddersfield and Brighton. However those clubs didn't have the likes of Lascelles, Shelvey, MBemba, Mitrovic, Colback, Perez and others already in their ranks.

Thoughts @Sima @clockstandpaddock ? I believe yous both post on there...

The thought was it would pre-allocate it on their system and make it unavailable to someone else browsing the site, not so much a minimum wage flunky would be pulling 100 sets of golf clubs off the shelves. Later on it's suggested that wouldn't be the case as their IT system doesn't work correctly.

We just find it f***ing bizzare not a stir tbh.
Me personally, I think he's a good manager but the way some in fact most of you lot go on re benitez is embarrassing you make him out to be one of the best managers in the world

And even if it did, it’s not pissing Ashley off, just being shitty to kids earning minimum wage.

What's the threshold for attempting to ruin someone's career? For you it's obviously somewhere between minimum wage kid and regional journalist. Where is the line?

Fwiw I haven't seen any individuals targeted, unless people on here are on about Keith Bishop?

Top scorer iirc.

The fact that Sunderland fans hate and criticise a top manager like Benítez and praise a wanker of an owner like Ashley tells it’s own story to me. Benítez is respected and known as a top class manager all over England(apart from in Sunderland), Ashley is known as a wanker who has pretty much ruined destroyed and relegated Newcastle all over England (apart from in Sunderland).
