MP takes on Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley over his 'exploitation' of the club

No, there will be a list submitted with preferred targets and costs. Lacazette and Aubameyang would have been costlier than Rivière so down the list we went until we got to that shithouse.
Is this a fact or just your opinion?

Think we both know the answer to that.

Were they spending £100m and we £50m I'd take your point. West Ham have spent £114m and we've spent... £4m, for a 'keeper. West Ham have sold one player for £1.7m, we've sold 2 first team squad players for £20m. I won't go into Net spend for fear of the fury that some will lurch into.

Which window were Newcastle one of the top spenders in all of Europe? Summer 15/16 was our biggest transfer expenditure recently and we weren't even in the top 5 of the Premier League.

Every fanbase will fight their own battles. We've all seen the shit Arsenal fans got for wanting shot of Wenger. There'll be fanbases who'd have swapped places with you under Short in a heartbeat, but you wanted him gone. There's fans of clubs who'd casually look at our situation and declare they'd love to be a Premier League club with a good manager and what not. Were they to look a little harder they'd see that Benitez will justifiably walk if he's not appropriately backed (as he was assured he would be), that the club is a relegation candidate already, that once Benitez goes it's likely Ashley will appoint a clown like Kinnear.

Would a Blackburn fan want to swap one shithead owner for another? Probably not.

Whose niggardly approach cost us our Premier League position in the first place? Even if you credit Ashley for loaning the club some money, he didn't fund the purchases of players, that came from player sales.

I know it's the done thing on here to paint Ashley as the victim, but you're the only fanbase that does it.
will he fuck he's not that principled he's just angling for a bigger contract

she was , but that doesn't count of course
How is that the same as an mp kicking off about a football team in a place that typically discusses financing and food banks for people who live in poverty ?

It's nothing like the same and anyone with any sense will see this as a cheap attempt to score points in a situation that they have no right or mandate to discuss within their role.

As a fan she can whinge, as an MP she is misusing her position, what if her constituents were 70% Sunderland fans? Would she have the right to discuss in parliament a points deduction for nufc just because it's what her constituents want?

It’s a fairly standard form of scouting.

Scout identifies targets for certain positions with costs.
Board look down list and pick the most viable for budget.
Negotiations take place.
Player is signed.

Take Stoke for example, they needed a winger their list more than likely consisted of, among others, Matt Ritchie and James McClean. They were unsuccessful getting Matt Ritchie for their budget so have moved onto McClean.

You stated that NUFC is the same as every football club in every city in the country. The fact that is based right in the city centre within the consistency of the MP for that city makes it unique. So not 2 separate things at all. The heartbeat of the city *is* NUFC.

Lacazette and Aubameyang

You lot will literally believe owt

Why is it unrealistic? You did notice I said Aubameyang when he was at St. Etienne, right.

Bearing in mind at the time we used to pick well-rated (or ‘unknown’ if you believe some) Ligue 1 players up with regularity. This was before the money of PSG and the youth development at Monaco.

I don’t make the rules, if it does get 100K signatures it needs discussing. Blame whoever brought that rule in.

I don’t think anyone is asking him to put his own money in, are they?

Well what else do you want him to spend? He’s not taking money from the club despite how much yous shout about it. Yous have spent about £150m since mclaren. The wage bill for the championship and the transfer spend was by all accounts f***ing astronomical, which you were still feeling the affects of last season. Don’t even bother saying net spend either to me that’s been done to death and it’s shite. The running costs of the club will be huge. He’s invested plenty, to of spent £150m in 4 transfer windows is canny going.

Bollocks as well, it got 100k signatures but that is not worthy of discussion in government. Yous are attention whores at the best of time this is another level.

But signed someone shit?

Haway man Sima you're better than this.

Aye, money in and money out makes no difference at all to your budget.

Seriously, man. What’s the point?

Wow, just wow.

Pure speculation.

Dinnar what's funny the thick bitch in parliament with her £183k yearly expenses talking ironically about exploitation or the thick mags (or just known as mags) claiming she's their (new) hero/ messiah :lol::lol:

But signed someone shit?

Aye, ultimately we needed a striker and we bought a shit one further down the list. It’s not that unrealistic.

Same with Joselu last summer. We wanted Tammy Abraham but wouldn’t pay his loan fee/wages so ended up with The Hoss instead.

Mate I thought you were one of the decent mags but if you can’t see this for what it is, utterly f***ing cringeworthy and a massive waste of an mps power youre just like the rest of them.

I haven’t even given my opinion of her raising it in parliament yet you’ve already decided what it is and cast judgement.
