What a f***ing joke that is mind. The countries in a f***ing state and the world is f***ing mad as a box of frogs. Now some f***ing moron thinks it’s acceptable to complain in parliament about a rich man running a company the way he sees fit without putting it in jeopardy or it’s employees. Just because he won’t last millions around that don’t exist they are up in arms. They need to get over themselves, when you thought they couldn’t embarrass themselves any more.

How she pronounces Rafa :lol::lol:

Ambition doesn't mean title challenge. For all but 3 or four clubs the title may as well be mythical. But playing good football is attainable, as is consistently getting a top half finish. Trying to win a cup is attainable. To do the above, you need investment. Which is what we see every season from other clubs. Bournemouth are trying to finish as high as possible and their owner is backing Howe to make that easier. So are the Dildo Twins. So are the uber-dodgy Wolves owners.
Is it worthy of a parliamentary debate? Is he running your club in to the ground?

Which is why I can't understand the outcry over lack of transfers.

Pay your best players more so you don't lose them.

Realistcally, who are you going to buy who is better than you have?

We were heavily rumoured to be in for Plea that has just signed for Monchengladbach but wouldn’t stump up the extra £2m.

We’ve also been linked with Townsend but were insistent on getting Ritchie off the books first and look to have missed out on selling him to Stoke after asking for too much.

We’ve been linked to Joe Bryan but now West Ham are in for him we’ll more than likely miss out.

We’ve had opportunities to buy strikers in the past that we haven’t been willing to put the money up for. We trailed Aubameyang for ages when he was at St Ettiene and Lacazette when he was at Lyon but the powers that be decided that he wasnt worth the risk so we ended up with Rivière instead.

I’m still actually struggling to get my head around this. And I’m struggling even more to understand some of the comments from Newcastle fans.
The boycott of Sports Direct, I’m not saying they will be the best employers around but they do employee people and boycotting on the scale some are suggesting could jeopardise jobs.
I’ve seen one suggesting a national boycott where fans of all clubs join in to support them, why would they,
I think I’ll go and spend some money there this weekend :)

Weren’t you involved in a campaign to remove a Sunderland Echo journalist from his position?

You don’t honestly think this is worthy of being discussed in parliament? With everything that’s happening at home and abroad.

I thought petitions had to have 100K signatures before matters were to be discussed on parliament?

Has this petishun had 100K signatures?

fwiw the microscope needs to stay on Sports Direct imo. Newcastle are small fry compared to Sports Direct so that’s the best avenue and their working practices.

I don’t see how this is relevant to the question I asked mind.

Didn't know Ashley was your chief scout as well as owner.

Maybe whoever was in charge of recruitment thought Riviera was a better option. But no it's all Ashley's fault of course.

52000 screaming signatures and 250000 locked out ones.

It's the MP raising the matter isn't it? Not sure if a petishun is needed.

No, there will be a list submitted with preferred targets and costs. Lacazette and Aubameyang would have been costlier than Rivière so down the list we went until we got to that shithouse.

It shouldn’t of even been a petition. It’s embarrassing yous even went this far! To waste time in parliament complaining about a man who’s pumped millions in to you already not spending more of his own money to let you massage your egos is absolutely shite.

If he’s running Sports direct wrong then yeah fair enough but it’s got fuck all to do with how he runs yous. Your clubs solvent, no one is being made redundant and you finished 10th in the premier league after promotion. You all honestly need to get a f***ing grip. For this to get this far is a joke and it should of been treat like the joke it is today.

no matter how f***ing embarrassing they get (French day, mock funerals, bedsheets, horse punching et al) they will still find ways to surpass previous attempts. Their fuckwhittery knows absolutely no bounds

I don’t make the rules, if it does get 100K signatures it needs discussing. Blame whoever brought that rule in.

I don’t think anyone is asking him to put his own money in, are they?
