I think there will be a lot of late deals, especially in the Premier League. They've been linked with Rondon this morning for £16 million. A few of them were saying he'd be decent back up :lol:. If they spend £16 million on a striker he won't be back up.

I'd rather we bought payers for what they can do on the pitch rather than the profit we could make

we could double our money on Arnautovic right now, i'd be f***ing furious if he was sold though

Mate @Grumpy Old Man will tell you if you're not in the CL and you're not selling your players for a profit you haven't got a sustainable business model. I agree its shit, but it's true.

we made a 60m profit in our last seasons accounts without selling anyone for a profit. it'll certainy be news to many that that is not a sustainable model! :lol::lol:

of course, along with 52000 seaosnt icket holdrs etc that that brings. still won't be long tillwe ride to rescuse of the tax payers and take the stadium off their hands when athletics move inot their new 50,000 seat stadium that's currentlybeing built in Birmingham (at a huige discount of course)
