If Preston match our bid we're screwed
Probably, he does sound like a Hugill type and they presumably have a bit of cash left from the fee they got for him. Hopefully we'll get him though. He sounds like just what we need and in with a good chance of making the step up if we're promoted. Eisa is the more exciting possibility though- with Wyke we know pretty much what we're getting but Eisa could be a revelation.
Going for both suggests a 442?

With what I've read about Eisa would give us the flexibility to go 442 like you said but can also play in a 433 formation.

The South Bradford Local History Alliance reports that "the Wesleyan movement held meetings in Wyke in the mid-19th century at a property in Wyke Lane known as Bink's Cottage, and later at the home of Joseph Clark near the Temperance Hall. The original chapel was built in 1869 and was officially opened in 1871.
@spitfire went to school with a wyke iirc;)

Fancy choosing PNE over us man.
They'll never ever hit the PL, and whilst it will take us time, we will get there.
Plus support, facilities etc.

What if we match theirs?

We will be screwed

Doesn't matter how quickly you think we'll get back up, we are in the league below them, they were only one place below the play-offs last season. Players careers are fairly short and if he has any ambition he'll be playing for them if they offer what we do

This in a nutshell.
Why can't people grasp this ?
We are where we are and players of a certain age won't want to hang around for 3 or 4 years in the hope we get back to the top tier.

By the same token we may well pay similar wages to PNE and he may fancy moving back to the NE to play in front of bigger crowds in a promotion push.

If the player's aim is to play in the Premier League then joining Preston and having a great season there means he could be in the top flight the season after (via a transfer or promotion)
