Just a thought here but Littletown had a bucket collection at Durham Cricket tonight, maybe Spennymoor could do this?

Chunkylover53 viccarlton we will set up a general funding page somewhere soon for donations. The bucket collection idea was also proposed for one of the T20 games at DCCC. We have e-mailed the club.

Have things changed because the last Just Giving page had to be taken down because it would have invalidated the insurance claim?

We submitted the insurance claim on Thursday. I'm not sure of the legalities, i.e. whether it needs to be completed, and money paid out before we do any Just Giving stuff. If anyone knows any better, feel free to post. At the minute, we're doing stuff around the town. If anyone would like to contribute a raffle prize to be drawn at the Spenny FC -Hartlepool friendly on Saturday, the Town Hall in Spenny is the collection point for prizes. We have enough booze to keep even the gentlefolk of the town pie-eyed for a fortnight if variations can be offered. Nothing too cerebral please, it is Spenny after all.

Well represented fundraising at Spennymoor vs Pools today. Told the lady to contact Durham CCC to see if the club will allow a bucket collection next Saturday. Worth asking. Good luck to them
