Yorkshire v Durham T20

Still you fail to answer my question. Not much point debating with you.

You’re not really debating with him anyway, you’re just repeating the same nonsensical point that you’ve been banging on about most of the season and it’s all because of your personal vendetta against Lewis.

The phrase ‘You never change a winning team’ is absolutely bollocks, because you ALWAYS try to improve your team if you can. That’s been put to you almost as many times as you’ve talked about not changing a winning team - do you think Real Madrid after winning the Champions League this season will stick with what they’ve got for next years campaign? Or do you think they’ll try and make themselves even stronger?

or keeping players in that cant contribute, if we play on a pitch spinning square and win then turn up to the next game where the pitch is green do you keep the same team? I might stop posting on here people are not capable of debating.

But we didn't make ourselves stronger just like we didn't in the one day cup when fannying about with the team selection to accommodate out of form player(s). Carry on defending losing games by all means. Stand by what I've said.

Well we kept selecting Collingwood.

steel contributed 18 and 0 you were happy to accommodate him

Well we kept selecting Collingwood.

Collingwood for Jones and Poynter for Davies WAS making ourselves stronger. That was evidenced in the contributions the relevant parties made in the necessary games.

Cue you saying: But we won the first game and lost the next - yeah, playing against completely different opposition and at a completely different f***ing ground you tool.

I’d like you to point out where I’m defending losing games.

you don't change a winning team man no matter what the conditions or the opposition:lol:

We lost vs Warwickshire and Sussex. Don't be so angry, everyone is entitled to an opinion you know

Wsn't pointer left out of the team because he was due to join the Ireland squad … am sure that's what Marty said.

aye then davies came in did nowt poynter returns and gets runs he cant get that its not as simplistic as you win you keep the same team lose you don't also not taking opposition line up tactics and conditions into account

He missed the win vs Derbyshire at home due to international commitments, he then played vs Sussex which we lost, then was missing vs Warwickshire due to international commitments.

Paul Collingwood also missed the victory vs Derbyshire and was then recalled for the 2 defeats vs Sussex and Warwickshire, just like he missed our only 2 victories in the One Day Cup but played the rest of the games which we lost.

Josh Coughlin who played in the win vs Derbyshire was dropped for the Warwickshire game which we lost.

I'm not the coach though, but I'll always have my opinion. It's a results business though..........

you seem unable to admit players that came in contributed more

I’m not angry, it’s actually quite amusing. Not sure what naming the teams brings to the conversation but nevermind.

Are you really trying to make the point that the reason we lost those games is because we changed a winning team?

Despite the fact it’s been highlighted countless times that the incoming players made a far greater contribution than those making way?

You can always have an opinion, but when you fail to acknowledge whatsoever - when the evidence is weighted so heavily against your point - that maybe you’re wide of the mark, it is incredibly tedious and frustrating.

It’s like constantly trying to tell us that GRASS IS BLUE and not allowing anyone to persuade you different despite numerous pieces of evidence to disprove you.

Honestly, you’ve become such an empty vessel on certain issues lately that maybe it’s time to stick you on ignore.

People get on about others adding fuckall to the forum, chops previously, Young Ebor for a time too, but you just refuse to allow yourself to acknowledge any other reason for Durham’s failings than it all being down to Jon Lewis. So far to the point where you’re clutching so magnificently at straws in order to hammer home that point.

We didn’t lose at Sussex because Poynter and Collingwood returned. Josh Coughlin played in that game too by the way and had zero impact.

The evidence is we lost just like in the one day cup when we fucked about with the team selection. Collingwood is having absolutely zero impact on anything this season for example. Absolutely remarkable how he keeps getting selected. Like i say it's a results business.

Fuck me, you’re beyond parody now like. Like a shit MP, responding to a direct question with an answer to a question imagined in your head.

Time for a new log in?

At least I answer questions. Have a good day anyway. No new log in required, not my problem if you don't like my opinion.
