Starting to think we're a seamer light.

bit late now but just got back in after half a day at the cricket. i thought on seeing the team it seems daft to be only playing 3 seamers, especially in this weather and couldn't help but think another daft decision to put them in... if you don't bat first on this track in this weather you never will - especially when they wanted to bat anyhow it just seems putting them in is crackers.

also what is the point of salisbury wearing a shirt with wood on the back and putting tape over his name... did we run out of plain shirts like :lol:

Graham Clark on to bowl.

They won the toss you doyle.

It also appears that the three seamers are the only ones fit.

Ambrose 50. He was dropped on 10.

New ball taken. Hopefully it does more than the first one.

Fuck sake, first ball is a floaty half volley

Instead of the expected influx of spectators after work the ground is rapidly emptying.

I left at 6.30 pm tbh it was like watching paint dry today.
Needless to say the bus stop was full of old gadgees who had called it a day as well.

No fan of these late starts or the ludicrous decision to only open the gates one hour before play starts...I mean it's not as if we're rolling in money is it?

Ambrose must've inside edged just past his stumps about 5 times. Not even exaggerating, he's had more lives than a f***ing cat.

Came home at second interval hoping against hope that after my departure there would be wickets because there had been very little threat of them for most of the day.Unfortunately as I write this at home at 83 overs Durham bowlers are still chuckling pies

Trott completes the easiest hundred of his career.

Yep, so by your reckoning he has another four lives yet:lol:

No, he's been dropped once and played and missed about 6 times.

Another life for Ambrose, Colly drops him off Rushworth.

Ambrose' luck comes to an end, Rushy deserved that wicket - but Ambrose scored about 60 more than he f***ing deserved.

Ambrose c Harte b Rushworth 67.

265-5.

Keith Barker in, he ALWAYS takes the piss out of us. Bat and ball.

Barker dropped at second slip off Salisbury on 0.

Anyone go up last night and get in for £5?

I'd have been tempted but if i left straight from work id get there around 5.45 and not sitting around for an hour to get in, and not paying the full ticket price either

Shame they didnt make it from 6pm onwards its £5 which would have made more sense IMO

Even less here than yesterday unless everyone is planning to come down after bidding a tearful farewell to Peru's legendary strip and less than legendary team.

Anyone planning to use the Members lounge on Thursday should note it's closed for a private function so go to the Colly Pavilion instead.
