The Times - Donald - Loans

This is click bait of the highest order designed to get people to pay to see the whole article and it looks like it’s working. He’s also published another article on villa today about how the must pay £2m today.

Why did Donald say that satori, who is a billionaire is involved but he wouldn't be needed for this season. Then feel the need to go and get loans it doesn't make sense

Moving the shitheads out quickly was obviously factored into the cash flow, maybe naively they underestimated the power these twats have.

Must admit the £8m we owe Short for Dong and the £5m on Alvarez is a kick in the stots......am sure there'll be more to come......Fookin Rollacoasta til the window closes....we have to stick with the Don, not these Fookas in the Magedia, he could have made a fast buck and flogged the club within a week of buying it and we wouldn't be buying seats if we were Fookin skint, would we?
This is only because the agreed sale price between Short and Donald was based upon projected accounts and the figures Short gave Donald included 8m coming into the club from the sale of Ndong to Watford.

Donald noticed this and as that transfer want going ahead this meant that the club was going to be 8m worse off than Short said it would be. So Donald got Short to lower the agreed sale price between them by 8m to 32m on the proviso that when Ndong was sold then Short would get the 8m.

This would all then take the figures back to what they agreed on for the sale, ie Short gets 40m for us.

I've had big doubts over the new owners from day one. Personally, I think they're in well out of their depth. Hope to be proved wrong but not convinced at all.

Well stay away then come back when it goes tits up so you can gloat and say I told you so....so called supporters like you are getting right on my tits now like !!

to be fair The Times isn't usually known for making things up
They haven't made anything up, they've just gone with the great British press' age-old tradition of suggesting and implying problems where in reality there are none. He's hedged the wording of his article to the point that it doesn't actually say anything.

Weird how this directly contradicts what our owner is saying. One of them is lying, I instinctively believe the owner (why buy the club if you can't afford it within a month) but also why would the press hate us so much to lie about it? A strange one.

I can well believe the press hates us - I'm sure the Times has at least one pet mag in that little club that's made it their mission to slag us off while blowing smoke up the gravy nonces. I'd expect they're also in the huff that Donald is communicating direct through other sources rather than them.

Reserve judgement on this story until we hear more.

Until we hear from Grumpy Old Man!

Hopefully someone will have tweeted the owner about this he can then explain
They have and Mr. Donald has just replied:

"I have talked to the Echo and the Chronicle this morning so they have the accurate picture and then I can update the fans further in a couple of weeks. I think the article should be self explanatory hopefully. No need to panic"

hierarchy are exploring possibility of a short-term loan to put the club in 'strongest position possible'. But hopeful it won't come to that.

Not much to see here.

If Mr Donald has looked at this Im sure its looking at worst case scenario situations.

The new owners from what I can see are making the right decisions and we are heading in the right direction.
