I seem to recall that after the clown forum invasion, Roger had to put a warning on here not to do it again. (It may have been a different invasion)

I remember the warning but can't remember which invasion it was for.

There was only the one forum invasion that I was involved with, but it was glorious. Only member from here that I remember being on was @El Gen but there were others.
Some daft sod on here found a domestic cleaning product website, Winans, based in America. Unfortunately (for them) they had a message board where they provided helpful advice. You can imagine how that went.
Overnight, the messages were deleted with a message/warning from the owner that he'd had to "clean out the message board" to which someone posted the obvious reply "do you sell products to clean message boards too?"
About a week later, the message board disappeared completely, never to reappear again.

Like the British Empire, the SMB used to invade a lot of places in the old days before people decided that’s not OK. Some I vaguely remember were a poetry message board where a lot of extremely sensitive and touchy people used to post long and unbearable poems about blood, the darkness and their broken hearts and didn’t take kindly to dirty limericks posted by Mackem dodgepots; a football hooligan website which didn’t take kindly to being mocked in a variety of ways; the Blazin Squad (remember them?) fans message board which didn’t take kindly to people suggesting to a teenage fan wanting advice about unplanned pregnancy that she should sell the baby to a childless middle class couple and spend the profits at Greggs; and (I think) a mercenary website that didn’t take kindly to people pretending to be characters from the A Team looking for work...
