Will do more than 40 with the wind. My air got up to 48mph in sports. Sport mode is fine just make sure you are in a massive open area as braking is vastly increased.
My spark got 43 you’ll easy get over 50 like. Took mine down coast thus morning but sea fret spoiling my fun.
Have you had yours out in wet weather? Haven’t bothered checking to see if they’re waterproof or not!

Its bound to the s/n as you say so may still cover it. I give the guy the details and said it may or may not transfer to him.

Mavic air is an awesome bit of kit and can be picked up with the extra batteries/kit (fly more combo) for around £750 if you shop around or don't mind ordering from abroad. Within budget gotta be the DJI Spark though. Don't be put off by worry of a more expensive drone making them harder to fly - all the tech in these DJI's makes them stupidly easy to fly and stable. As for fly aways etc, these are almost always proven to be pilot error, not checking GPS etc. Spend 30 seconds doing pre-flight (check GPS, sensor status etc) and you'll be good to go.

how long had you had it
Had the air and the refresh package about 3 months when i sold it on. Had around 3 hours flight time on it.

Agreed. Awesome software on the air which compensates for most pilot error.

You can in your case.

is it not in the drone (so would be 1 battery only), me aunt to get round it, ordered laptop battery to my house , then came for holiday & put battery in latop and flew home as NO courier would touch lithumn battery by air to northern ireland (its northern ireland the problem)

UN3480- Lithium Ion Batteries (batteries packed together) Most airlines will not carry batteries packed in this format on passenger planes, with only one or two still offering this service.

UN3481 / PI966 – Lithium Ion Batteries (batteries packed with equipment) Airlines are currently accepting batteries packed with equipment, but this needs to be the maximum amount of batteries to power the equipment plus 2 spares, for example, a camera with one battery to power it, and 2 spares packed in the same case. Each battery must be under 100 Watt hours, and the maximum weight of the batteries must be under 5 kilos.

UN3481 / PI967– Lithium Ion Batteries (batteries contained in equipment) Airlines are currently accepting batteries contained in equipment, with the restriction being no more than two batteries packed in one case, example being 2 laptops with the batteries attached. Each battery must be under 100 Watt hours, and the maximum weight of the batteries must be under 5 kilos
