I find it relevant because reading accounts of other football clubs eductates the reader as to what may or may not be possible for us, it also helps us form views as to what works and doesnt work and therefore helps us understand where we are going right and where we are going wrong.
Us spending only 3 or 4m whilst debt free is not as good as them needing to spend 30 odd million while racking up the payday lerns

Benitez, as we "have" to call him ,not Rafa, wants to take the club on if not the same as last season, to do this you need to invest, stand still like the past and you will be caught out...........i'm expecting between 20 and 40 million invested in the squad and i'm thinking Benitez will want a lot more as in truth we over achieved last season and he knows it will be difficult to repeat.........positions 8th downwards are fair game and as much as we all expect next season at NUFC , many teams will spend, we just expect us to keep up with the Jones's
