I remember queueing up for tickets when it was at Sunderland. Think I saw the likes of The Futureheads, Athlete, Kasabian (OOOOOSSSSHHHH!), Natalie Imbruglia (wad), Foo Fighters and Chemical Brothers for free. It was brilliant, even if I don’t like some of those acts much now.
The acts this weekend probably aren’t my cup of tea but it does seem like a very good line up for the kids!
I went on the Sunday, was a canny day. Maximo Park & The futureheads were right if my street at the time
Spandau Ballet ?Some cracking acts on.

FFSI’d do some work on her pyatt tbh there mate.
Not even her song. Think she managed to somehow sell the album from its success anarl.Nothings right I’m torn, I’m all out of faith, this is how I feel, I am cold and I’m ashamed lying naked on the floor.
Never been a fan of the Foo Fighters, was all about Kasabian that day for me, then the Foo Fighters took the roof off & taught them how to go on. I wouldn’t put a Foo Fighters record on, but I’d happily see them live again based on that day alone. They both still are for me if I’m honest.

It’s all branded as BBC Music now - none of it 6 or 1. Although it’s pretty clear the Belfast line-up is aimed at the 6 Music crowdYou mean 6 music from Belfast. PSB were canny as were the manic street preachers.
Underworld still to perform anarl
Radio 1’s is from Swansea and has Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Craig David, Florence and the machine etc.....
