I’m quite excited about his appointment as manager. He’s a young and hungry manager, with something to prove and a desire to match the fans. Hopefully he’ll be successful in getting us promoted.

Hey guys. Congratulations on what I'm sure will turn out to be a great appointment for you.

My main motive for starting an account here was seeing the negativity around Ross (on here & on Twitter) when the appointment became widely known, and I wanted to try to address/redress some of that. I'll probably hang around here as an interested observer - I really hope he does the business for you now.

I guess I've got very little chance of coming to a game at the SoL in my Saints shirt, sadly, but I'm very tempted to take a few games in now. :lol:

Yep, 100%. We went to Celtic Park in the cup last season and went hell-for-leather. We held a lead for most the game, ended up getting battered, but he'd rather go all guns blazing than try to shitfest his way to a point.

He did. They were 2nd in league 1 when he left.

That being said, I know I was ultra negative the other day but after a couple days thought, I think I was overly harsh. It's a risk but any appointment comes with risk. This appointment is so peculiar that it might just work. I'm still disappointed that Coleman was sacked in the manner that he was but time to move on.
