Backtracking where? They said they’d heard nothing then gave permission hours later.
If reports are to be believed then it’ll end up costing us a few quid more. Either way it was something that he didn’t need to say on national radio. Extremely amateurish.

there has been a bit of puzzling negativity around the takeover but this isn't if we've tapped Ross up which it appears we have if their chairman is to believed

going to cost us money because someone couldn't keep quiet

the Don is setting himself up for a fall here by saying he wants to be incredibly open. can't see it working to the degree he wants with a club our size. will no doubt lead to people moaning when he stops it i suppose

Wouldn't stop the moaning if Sir Alex came out of retirement to manage us and we were took over by the Sultan of Brunei and that's just our supporters, then we have the mags and wums. :evil:
 
Not excited by this, sorry. He's only won a division of a similar standard to the National League. But he'll get my backing at the games and hopefully proves me wrong and we piss the league.

They were taking liberties especially "Jim i know every important fker in football NOT White" C'mon Stewart just say just say. He really needs to calm down and get on with the job.
By the way i'm a lot more positive than i was 2 weeks a go.

My only gripe is he could've nipped it in the bud straight away when Jim and Mucky were getting excited but he kind of went along with it for too long.

Hit the ground running and his openness won’t be too much of an issue.

Incase it's escaped your notice, we're only a couple of divisions ahead of that. A few of the teams in this league aren't much better to start with.

Anyway, he's a fantastic manager, he's took a club that was on its knees to the Premiership within a season. He's just the sort of young, hungry manager we need at the moment. I'd rather him than some crusty no-mark. Great appointment IMO.

Mind, I've been wrong before, I was happy when Moyes was appointed...
