In 2005 when Gerrard won the CL for Liverpool, they scored 52 PL goals. That was less than Middlesbrough and the same as Chris Coleman's Fulham who finished 13th. And only 7 more than the bottom club Southampton.

Can't see it personally, times might be a bit tough at NUFC in terms of cash to spend ETC but West Ham are a proper shit club, you'd have to be mad to go there IMO, the best that they can hope for is somebody from abroad wanting to get their foot in the door in the PL

The season after they were 4th highest scorers. Season after that joint 4th. Season after that 4th.

In 08/09 Season they were the highest scorers in the division.

He has to outscore every other team in every season of his 20 year managerial career to not be a defensive manager who doesn't build free scoring teams otherwise the season he didn't will be used as an example as to why he is one. Is what I think he's saying
