CC :: Derbyshire v Durham

So after the excitement of the Bank Holiday, attention turns to Derbyshire on Friday. What a difference a win makes, as another one in this game will ignite the promotion talk!

We did the double over them last year - with Burnham and Pringle smashing Tahir all over Chesterfield in the away game as we chased down 285 to win. Then Colly's first innings 177 in the home game was the crucial contribution in a 9 wicket win.

It's going to be tough though, having to face a fired up Mark Wood, chasing a Test place.....

"Wood is now in contention to play for Derbyshire against Durham in Division Two of the County Championship, starting on Friday."

BBC bullshit aside though, it'll be great if Woody can play in the game, lord knows we need all the bowling help we can get as Rushy and McCarthy seem to have come out of the Leicester game with injuries. Add to them, Potts and Carse seemingly not close to playing and I think it would be wise for the club to look at a possible loaner in the coming days/weeks.

I suppose we'll know better when the squad is announced, I didn't expect the club to come out and let people know what's actually going on

Lads, LIVE STREAM for this one

Odds: Them 4/5, Us Evens.

Weather: Looks alright first couple of days, maybe a bit rain on Sunday.
Is the stream link working?

Not working for me

It's a bit stop start now.

It's my broadband.

Great picture when it works though?

That look like a road that pitch imo.

Weighell got a bit of swing though.

Second game in a row where we've inserted the opposition and then allowed them to reach 100 without loss.

Slater also was dropped on 50 by Markram off Weighell.

Put BBC sport on.... it's not sync'd tho

I'd have it off at the minute like, woeful patter on radio derby. partridge-esque...

'anyone else had this trouble, my car wasn't working so I called the AA and they said you'll have to stay with the car and I said but I can't I have a radio show to present!'

now I'd say it's a fair shout none of your listeners have that problem, as you're the one who is a radio presenter you massive tool

To be fair I assume he meant having to stay with your car when you need to be at work, or somewhere else.
