People, on here, appear to be using it in an ironic jokey forum way .... I doubt people will ever use it in real life as they do with Rafa.

Pardew used to get Pards, Allardyce Big Sam or Fat head in my case. Its not always because it's less of a mouthful sometimes it's just what they go by, Newcastle fans call him Rafa, as do Liverpool fans. I don't recall any Sunderland fans bleating on when Liverpool fans were calling him Rafa. The vast majority of Sunderland fans refer to him as Rafa as well, you're like a bunch of ten year old kids the way you go on at times.
