My biggest worry is who he appoints. If it's Michael Appleton, he's made a huge mistake

What about the consortium he 's part of. Any idea of who they are . Where they are from or importantly are they in the financial big league?
From what has been said today it looks like a combination of various companies in Madrid, investment company, and an oil company (repsol) then you have the leader who directs 17 companies and the football man from Eastleigh, the dof position remains unknown but the manager looks like Paul cook, I wouldn’t be surprised if the consortium spans further than those two

At the risk of sounding insular it’s actually nice to have an Englishman running the club. He will know all about the history and tradition of SAFC and cherish it IMO.

Of course not all foreign owners are bad for their club but the likes of Tan at Cardiff changing the colour of the kit and the Sheffield Wednesday owner doing away with their stripes just doesn’t sit well with me.

I just want next season to begin.

@KittenMittens seems to know too. He and the OP seem to be singing from the same hymn sheet.
The mittens lad is an interesting one. He can only be one of only a few people.

I have my suspicions.

He's nowt to do with ALS or any fan group necessarily.
He's written published stuff about Ellis Short
He loved Chris Coleman with a passion

I'm getting the word **** ************

Such a terrible user name though A children's nursery rhyme. Bit sort of noncey.
