To be fair, they could have done away with the whole quiz and just asked the last question.

Also, I'm not from Sunderland, so it's close but not right
 
Got me as Sunderland even though I escaped 43 years ago . From those questions I can't see how they came up with Sunderland instead of say, Durham or Newcastle .
 
Got it spot on for me, the spelk question obviously narrows it down to a very small area of the country in one go. Thankfully according to that test I am least like an easy Lahdahn cockney, despite living rather close by
 
Came up with Sunderland for me. I think its the happy/fleece question that's doing it, as there's not an option for a geordie sounding accent on that question. Tried several times and got different questions for some of them.

Yes, and bizarrely I got Sunderland.

I tried it a second and third time and got West London which is more accurate but not right either as I don't say 'barth' for bath.

Whole thing is shite.

I've tried it with a cockney accent, gave me a pic of danny dyer and east london, tried a Manc accent got a picture of liam Gallagher and manchester, scouse accent got liverpool and cilla black, tried my own accent and keep getting Sunderland ffs.
Gotta be that fleece question that's doing it, as Sunderland says "fleeyce" similar to the southern pronunciation, so its getting the happy as the same as "fleeyce" pronunciation.

Load of rubbish.
