How about a music festival with one ball between each track? You know what, let’s just play 5 overs a side with a blast of music between every ball.

And time outs. For adverts
Oh and nacho hats
Fuck off
Spot on. I'm not particular!early against it in the predictable way some others appear to be, it just seems odd to have the second T20 starting alongside it. Plus it looks like a month of the season is dedicated to it, which I don't like. The thing is, lotsof people saying they want cricket on BBC or whatever, well this is the time frame it has to be on
If people don't want it, that is fine, but then don't knock the ECB for selling just to Sky

Absolutely stupid. I like T20, i enjoy watching it, just as much as I enjoy watching a 4/5 day game. However it's just becoming stupid the ideas they come up with to 'improve' and gain new interest. All they are going to do is push away loyal supporters who enjoy the current formats. The are lots of other things they could do to encourage more people to watch.
Cheaper Tickets (Family tickets)
Look at start times
Double Headers (a weekend where to home team play 2 games)
There will be many more ways they can do what they apparently want to do without changing the format
Don't watch it is the simple answer then. If you're happy paying £100 to watch so-called test cricket, teams poodling along to 275-5 off 88 overs in 6½ hours which is supposed to be 90 in 6 hours, and call it "proper cricket" for some unknown reason, that's fine. It's sad watching the game being raped and pillaged like this.
In all seriousness? I'm guessing at approximately never. How long until it's 2 overs per side with sides obliged to give away at least 4 6's and 3 wickets per match. Just to ensure crowd entertainment like.
