An interesting piece of trivia – Shakespeare was born on St. George’s Day 1564, and if the story is to be believed, died on St. George’s Day 1616.

The Dragon story was added hundreds of years later - he was hardly an English saint, he may have been Greco-Palestinian and the Edward III & co still thought of themselves as Normans & spoke French when heas adopted.

We should have a Saint Harold, Saint Hereward or Saint Alfred!

I don't usually let idiots consume too much of my time but in your case I will make an exception.
Yes I have been in the jacksons, I said I hadn't in a joking response to your ludicrous suggestion that because I no longer live in Sunderland I couldn't have been in.
Yes the museum vaults has a good juke box however that is the places one highlight, I think the staff are rude, the place stinks despite a tart up and the clientele leave a lot to be desired, so overall a shithole.

Aye I got mixed up. Have amended my original comment.

It was The Borough I got mixed up with. Never understood the love in on here for that place. Shithole whenever I've been in though tbh it was about four years ago I was in.
