The Voidz are Julian Casablancas' other band. And, you must have heard of DeadMau5? Wears a metallic mouse head and plays house/trance type stuff. Had a couple of hits, I think. En Vogue are 90s R&B divas who were well known 20+ years ago, probably before your time. Neither of the last two interest me but they're names I know.
Of the rest, I'm tending towards the stuff from Cabbage onward in the list. I keep an Amazon list of stuff I'm interested in as a reminder and they're all from that (everything else is culled from Metacritic). Frankie Cosmos is from both - low fi American indie girl pop.
Amen dunes is a superb album. A fantastic body of work.
That and Hookworms best album of the year so far for me.

Eels always makes me think of my mate that died this year. He had Beautiful Freak when we were at school and was the reason I first heard them. That’s onviously on my list for today, probably Hinds and Wye Oak for me.First new releases of April tomorrow. Looks like Manics album is next week. It’s bound to be shit
Ah, Metacritic listed it for today.
Not on metacritic list is debut album from MIEN, a band comprised of members from Black Angels, the Horrors etc. Sure to appeal to fans of psyche, drone, shoegaze etc. The two lead singles were decent.

Eels appear to have been on a bit of a downward trajectory over the last couple of albums, hopefully the new one is an improvementEels always makes me think of my mate that died this year. Apple Music usually throws up a surprise suggestion for me when it finally updates the tailored new release suggestions mid-morning too.
