I agree with you. I'm proud to play for a team where everyone plays within the spirit of the game - we aren't great - we try our best to be competitive but ultimately play for enjoyment of the game and the odd 'day in the sun' when we win a cup or promotion. What we do regularly win is our local association's 'Fair Play' award at the end of the season. We always walk when we nick it (some even walk for LBW!) - being recognised by your peers for your sportsmanship is a great honour. I once walked when I gloved one down leg side - only myself and their keeper knew - but I know I did the right thing (and he bought me a pint afterwards as a thank you). It can totally ruin your weekend when you're fielding and you know (and they know) someone is out but they refuse to go - we're there for fun, not money.
