Well I've had a listen in the iPlayer and all I can hear is him saying he's sitting on the fence cos they're his two favourite teams![]()

Its not true though m8
Op is at 18.14pm
I've listened to the start 3 times - he says he's on the fence cos he loves us and derby then there's some shit bantz about caterpillars and a boring mag rings in
When does he say that??.
I couldn't give a flying fuck if the bloke has to talk shite to make a living these days. It won't diminish my memories of the most exciting Sunderland player I've seen in my lifetime.
i see mate. appreciate your clearing the matter up there. Its not true though m8

Reet I'm off to listen again.!!
Fair enough. The programmes too dull to trawl through again! At the start he said we're his 2 favourite teams but later on in the show he said he wanted Derby to win. Doubt I am the only one that heard it.
Better than SKP hardly
Listened on and heard itAt the start he said we're his 2 favourite teams but later on in the show he said he wanted Derby to win. Doubt I am the only one that heard it.
Aye. Farcical.Even Ando said he wanted us to stay up
Bob. He used to sell cars to footballers. You can see his name splashed all over SLG meeting minutes if you should wish to find out more.I don't know, who is it?
Possibly wide of the mark but CW?Bob. He used to sell cars to footballers. You can see his name splashed all over SLG meeting minutes if you should wish to find out more.
Got his arse kicked in the summer but he's got a hold over someone at the club which means he can spout what he wants.
He has been warned several times about his indescretion by people trying to quiten him.
He probably just needs stomping on now but SAFC are notoriously bad at managing PR and leaks.
I said he was the most exciting player. If you watched him you'd know what I mean. Nobody lifted the crowd like he did when he picked up the ball and started powering away. If you talk about unplayble on their day, then he fits the mould perfectly.Better than SKP hardly
I don’t listen to it, just as well by the sounds of it. However, I will not allow anything to sully my love of Marco. Still my favourite ever player, and hard to imagine anyone taking that away from him in my lifetime.
Unbelievable JeffFFS What is wrong with that bloke. He seems hell bent on shitting all over everything he achieved with us.
Totally agree marraHis vested interest in some of the players at the club makes his opinions virtually worthless anyway. He rarely watches Sunderland games, rarely provides any critical analysis of player or manager performance, criticises supporters in a fashion that suggests he’s massively out of touch and now broadcasts his wishes for us to lose...
Obviously a good player for Sunderland but not at all a relevant voice on all things SAFC
I have no chip on my shoulder mate other than Marco is supposed to be a SAFE legend and representing SAFE supporters on that radio station.Amazing how little regard you have for your business and / or the Supporters Liaison Group.
Every fucker knows who you are, yet you persist in constantly slagging off a multitude of people.
Just how big is the chip on your shoulder?
Who is he, well known?Amazing how little regard you have for your business and / or the Supporters Liaison Group.

Remember I said favourite, not best! Loved them both of course, but no one excited me quite like Marco! Other than 16.5.90 (obviously his best goal) I remember him scoring a toe-blam against Everton after running on to his own flick-on header, he was f***ing great man!!! Probs to do with the time we signed him, in similar doldrums to now, he was a breath of excitement and was more responsible than any other player for our turnaround. And I was 19 at the time and firmly in love with footy at that time.I suppose if neither Phillips or Quinn, the former having scored over 100 goals for the club including winning the European golden boot and the latter being a huge part of that, scoring goals for us and then going on to saving the club (potentially twice), can beat Gabbiadini to be your favourite player then it’s unlikely anyone ever will![]()
It’s not a neutral show. It’s a show for supporters of local football clubs to listen to a well informed, favourable but yet critical analysis of their club.
Gabbiadini is neither well informed or particularly critical given his contacts and it now turns out he isn’t particularly that keen on the club anyway.
People can say what they like about Bennett, and they do, but one thing you get from him is a passionate opinion about the club he watches and cares about. He’d never say what Gabbiadini has tonight. Neither would Martin Smith who is occasionally on there as well.
