It'll be interesting to see and hear the South African fans reaction when Bancroft opens the batting. And that will only be the start of it. It's great to see the tables turned on the cheating convict wankers.

I see as much worse. And like fuck it was tape, looked like sandpaper to me. No way this was their 1st 'pre planned' cheating exercise either.

Tape with dirt on it is not rigid enough to keep shape. Where is that tape now? Bright yellow wasn’t it should be easy found in a dressing room especially with dirt on. However I believe it will be sandpaper as most batters carry it around.
Yeah they got time,the young lad got a hefty punishment even though he was probably rail roaded into it. This will not disappear quickly but I reckon they will get off lightly
 
f***ing joke punishments coming through from FTICC. 1 Test ban for Smith and a fine. No ban for Bancroft just a fine and "demerit points". Bastards should be banned for life. Need a proper hearing with all the "leadership group" there to explain.

These convicts need to made an example of, just like the Pakistani's were.

The ban for Smith is only because they've given him 2 demerit points as well. More of a consequence of the 'punishment' than a punishment itself.

Makes an absolute mockery of it, treating it like nothing more than a misdemeanour that they got caught out by rather than the scandal it actually is. Pre-meditated cheating FFS!
 
Problem is the clowns at the ICC dont actually see ball tampering as a heinous crime. I think its just a level 2 offence.

I dont think that will be the end of it though, when their own PM is talking about it, I suspect there'll be a clear out of the current regime once they get home.
 
To be honest they've done a standard small punishment.
Australia's real punishment is it's going to be hard to act holier than thou now.

Have those two guys from New Zealand covered this yet, was hilarious when they did Warner and de Kock.
