The Aussie Prime Minister even getting stuck into them.

"It beggars belief."

Mr Turnbull said he had a "frank discussion" with Cricket Australia chairman David Peever about the scandal on Sunday afternoon.

"I have expressed to him very clearly and unequivocally my disappointment and my concern about the events in South Africa. He has said to me that Cricket Australia will be responding decisively, as they should," Mr Turnbull said.

"It's their responsibility to deal with it but I have to say that for the whole nation - who holds those who wear the baggy green up on a pedestal about as high as you can get in Australia - this is a shocking disappointment.

"It's wrong and I look forward to Cricket Australia taking decisive action soon."

Good
Looks like there could be some external pressure on the Aussie board to do a lot more than they will want to .
Could happen to a nicer fella if Smith gets the elbow

Here's a laugh from the Aussie pm:

It seems beyond belief the Australian cricket team have been involved in cheating. Our cricketers are role models and cricket is synonymous with fair play. How can our team be engaged in cheating like this? It beggars belief."

Steve Smith and David Warner have stood down as Australia captain and vice-captain for the remainder of the Cape Town Test:

More and more people coming out saying Smith needs to take full responsibility, and to stand up and take what's coming.

Fantastic

Just the test. Which basically means 5 wickets to be taken.

Not very contrite innit. Horrible criminal scum.

Not enough imho.

Bancroft, Smith and Lehmann need to be punished. Perhaps Bancroft didn't feel he was in a position to refuse because he's relatively junior, if so his should be a lesser punishment. But Captain and coach have to go and that includes a hefty suspension for Smith.

Nice to see Warner involved as well.

Absolutely this.

Cannot stand the pair of them and it's brilliant watching them squirm.

Hopefully SA press on and grind them down, then Bowl them out very cheaply just to rub it in a bit further
