Yes not a great thing to do but these lads have been even more silly

Atherton was an obvious act that is largely within the laws of the game (a spinner rubs his hand in the dirt before gripping the ball. Atherton applied the dirt for Salisbury(?) in advance.
Sucking sweets? Hmm, that's a tricky one. Has there been any evidence that it makes a difference. It's certainly not within the spirit of the game.
However, what Australia have done, admitted to doing and admitted to planning to do is huge - admitting to meeting and discussing ways to cheat? Wow, that's huge
