He had made it before going on like a tool. Notice we didnt act up when we raised coin for their lot? Yet they still sang about shooting Mackems out the sky and claimed our fly over and Johnson celebration were both digs at the tragedy. Berks.

Reading through this thread is quite worrying at how many soft f***ing fairys we have on here like :D

Thought it was good craic rewarded for what he did for charity. At the end of the day if he misses, he gets laughed at and probably wont be posting on the mag forums like some of the soft shites we have on here, but unfortunately he got the last laugh.

Actually spoke to the mag in question this morning. I knew nothing about yesterday’s crossbar challenge and he just started making conversation with me as our kids were competing in a gymnastics competition in Durham. He said it was just banter and the Sunderland fans were excellent towards him after he hit the crossbar. Also said rivalries aside he didn’t like to see Sunderland in such a sorry state. Seemed like a good lad to be honest.
 
I thought it was all in good spirits and entertaining. Kudos to all of them that made the walk.

The other difference is that this lad was also doing the crossbar challenge and succeeded, hence his celebration.

Those of us who are season ticket holders and were there cheered him, especially the cheeky nutmeg.

Everyone whinging just needs to get over themselves.
 
you can make money for charity in many ways. Club didn't need to allow a mag onto the field in that awful horrid mag strip. Seems like yet another blow. First time i've heard about this as even I have stopped attended games now. However, this one still hurts, shaking with anger here whilst drinking my morning coffee.

Raised money for a great cause,, hit the crossbar and had a laugh.
As did most of those watching.
