Coleman/Bain Q and A with fans.

What can be so secretive that a venue must maintain a confidential agreement over a cancelation of a Q&A do?

SAFC "The do is cancelled"
Venue "nee bother, you will lose your deposit"
SAFC "ok, bye"
Venue "bye"

Am I missing some CIA /FSB plot or something?

After the last few results, no doubt worried about a back lash, also they will want all phones and Camaras off at the door. So no information leaking out it's been done before.

Even that Ask Coleman thing on twitter was all pre selected and pre recorded. They wouldn't even let him select questions live and answer them. All scripted days in advance. There was never any chance that this was going to go ahead at The Peacock. How can they even agree to it then withdraw like 3 days later?

Must be some sort of Non Disclosure Agreement in place, or at least an incentive on either side of what agreement does exist to keep things quiet for now

They were contracted to agree apparently

We've obviously got a lot to say on this. Only found out this afternoon it had been pulled.

The whole process around making this happen was pretty frustrating for all parties involved at our end.

Will make the point - this was only happening with our involvement because we work with the pub. The pub had an agreement with a mutual 3rd party that meant this event could happen. It was an obligation. We have asked if we can do something with the manager/CEO before but obviously they're never going to allow it.

We don't want to say anymore until we read the club's statement as we don't know what their official reason is for pulling out.

We suggested at the outset that it would be a bad idea to have Bain involved and didn't want him to be involved. We wanted to talk football and not politics.

@WiseMenSayPod: You may be (un)surprised to hear that the club have pulled out of the agreed Q&A with Chris Coleman and Martin Bain.

The club are providing the venue with an official statement explaining why and we have been asked not to comment until we read it.
Lol. Typical. Bottlers.

Keep quiet on what, that's what I'm struggling with.

It's a cancellation of a Q&A do.

"Don't tell anyone about it"
"About what Mr Bain?"
"You know - IT"
"Erm ok, bye"
Phone goes down, man turns to his friend "That Martin Bain is a right f***ing weirdo like Bob"
"Aye John"

I'm not sure whether you can elaborate on this or not so I understand if you can't. I just don't understand how a pub in town, or a mutual party, could force an obligation with a football club to hold a supporters meeting there. Nor, if there was indeed an obligation, how they can pull out anyway?

Bain really does need to go. He just isn’t cut out for this football and fan malarkey at all.

People won’t know but when his email address was sussed at safc he changed it. Sad.

I don't know why they agreed to it in the first place. They've basically created something out of nothing, that nobody would have ever expected anyway.
