Why are forums less popular amongst the 20 somethings of today?

Posted on here since I was 19, 27 now.

Took over my dad's log in as he never used it and this was back in the day you needed a specific type of email address.

Class on here man, post more here than I do Facebook and Twitter etc
 
FB now appears to be taking on the brand appeal of Marks and Spencer on the Interweb.

It's only 'cool' (or sick?) to be on something less public..
You do have a point. You might have a Facebook, but do you really want to use something that lets your nana see everything.
