What's the crack with the tight time frame for final? Is it going to be same night as the Cruiserweight final?
He's not even good on the inside against quality opponents.
What he is good at is putting away European level fighters who don't have a great deal of movement or/and like to rush in giving him the opportunity to unload.
It still fucks me off....as amazing career as he had, could have been even better ffs
The documentary before the MAB fights is an absolute car crash, all his hangers on egging his bollocks on. Pricks.Exactly mate. I've only just lately come round to not hating on him. I absolutely loved the fuck out of him. He didn't just piss his his greatness away. He pissed on all his fans who were there from the very beginning. His sacking of Ingle was the decline for me. Manny Steward was a class trainer but didn't know how to handle the ego of Naz, just let him fuck up his preparations prior to Barrera. Heartbreaking.

But he effectively runs his own camps. He's got good inside work that with some direction and coaching I think would carry up a level more than we've seen against BJS and Groves.
I agree with what you're saying at this stage and it's the same reason I picked Groves really.
Eubank is British level, nothing better. He’s stepped above it twice and been schooled both times. Prince Nas was comedy gold last night.
He had a point, where does he go from here? He’s never going to win a proper world title. His best win is Spike O’Sullivan. He’s pissed off all the major promoters to the point of no one will take him on.
The problem with that mate is he's 28 with too many bad habits and technical flaws. No trainer in the world will be able to magic Eubank into something different at this stage.

No offence mate but I still don't think the penny has dropped for a lot of people.
Eubank doesn't have what it takes. He isn't and never will be world level. Doesn't matter who is trainer is.
He simply can't box. I think his Dad knew that and his aim was simply to hype him and get people to buy into the hype to make as much money as possible before being found out. Job well done.
Agree. I said earlier that he doesn't have the excuse of being green anymore, but can still be fringe world level at super middle. Not sure he should go down as people reckon, Canelo, Golovkin, Saunders and co will all beat him, the first two absolutely destroying him. I think a superb coach for him would be Garcia if he went to the States.
When JCC jr was preparing for Martinez, his camp reminded me of the old Naz documentary.
Not under any illusions when it comes to his ability but even stupid little things like Jnr wrapping his own hands and beginning his pre-fight warm up ridiculously late would never have happened if he was willing to take any sort of advice on board. No version of him would ever be good enough to have beaten that version of Groves but at least prepare properly to give yourself the best possible chance.
Garcia has a very good track record of extracting the absolute maximum from technically limited fighters, he turned Maidana from a fighter who went life and death with a shot Morales to giving Floyd arguably his toughest fight. Rios another example who made the absolute most of limited technical ability under him.
Yes, mate, and not just wrapping his own hands but overdoing it on his knuckles? Which surely would have taken something away from his bang.
I think Eubank is getting far too much attention out of this that he really doesn't deserve.
So, taking your lead and moving onto Groves. A very good result for boxing last night - the lad who has good boxing fundamentals and has learned his trade and fought world level fighters makes it an easy night's work. 'Really pleased that happened and he proved a lot of people wrong about his stamina.
Exactly why I think he'd be a good match mate.
Also, just like to point out how good Groves has been for British boxing throughout his career like.
There was a lot of fanfare around him due to being Haye's protege when Haye was at the peak of his popularity but even from very early on in his career he did things the hard way and as much as people have praised his character for coming back from the 3 world title losses I'd say it's even more impressive how he's recovered from what happened to Gutknecht in the aftermath of their fight.
Great to see him finally getting the credit he deserves. He's ducked nobody, picked up 2 wins in big domestic fights where he went in as the underdog and he's been in some really entertaining fights along the way.
Retirement concerns are daft. He's still fairly young, and has never really been beat up.
But the other stream of contents are spot on. He needs to thank his dad, shake his hand, pack a bag and fly to the states and walk into a top gym and ask to be trained buy a top level guy.
From the early match with DeGale too. Neither of them had to take that fight at that stage, when you look at the level they've each reached since, but Groves was underdog at the time too.
