Just hope they don't expand too quickly, as what they do at the minute is spot on. Fly with them regular now and are my go to airline. Canny rewards scheme too.

Wrap up well, it's f***ing Baltic.
 Going on friday mate. Fishing for a week. Cant wait like

Temperatures dont look the best like

 I know some lads going. NJ, MJ and some others?

I was looking at ganning to San Francisco. They fly direct LGW to Oakland £400 all in. £6 for a ticket from Oakland to SF on the BART.

Cheapest to SF is £450 and that's via LA and an extra 4 hours.
 No brainer then. And the cabin crew aren't miserable bastards like on BA. Free WiFi normally too.

On a semi related note, has anyone got experience of flying with eurowings? My daughter is flying back to Cape Town shortly and noticed these were flying Cape Town via Düsseldorf about 200 quid cheaper than Emirates who she normally flys with and are normally cheapest

I use them regularly from Sunderland North. No idea what their long haul is like but the flight to Dusseldorf is OK. Only problem at the moment is they're using a Dash 8 (turboprop) on the NCL-DUS route but the times are for an A319 jet. Consequently they're always at least 1 hour late.

Cheers, she’s flying from Manchester, I think it’s supposed to be an airbus of some kind 319/20. I guess at that price everything including baggage is extra

Anyone used them before? I've just noticed they now fly to the US from
Edinburgh and London for less than half the price of the next cheapest airline. What's the catch?
Our lass is cabin crew for them out of Gatwick. You will fly on the Dreamliner if going long haul which is a quality plane.

She loves working for them and from all accounts and reviews many people love flying with them.

You pay for the extras like entertainment, food egg but you are still saving a shit load than flying with BA.

Bit of a random (and pointless) one but I've flown with them a few times now and I noticed that at least one of the hostesses put on a pair of gloves before take off and landing?!

I've never seen that before and I'm pretty sure I wasn't on some dodgy bondage flight each time. Does anyone know why?

Probably just the cabin manager and part of her uniform mate
