It's a great game, I thoroughly enjoy it even though I'm not too great at it .

Thing is there are so many levels to it, beginners can play. decent players, masters, and still always there is nothing definite.

Its like a combination of sport, art, science all rolled into one depending on the circumstances and the game being played.

There were some expert chess players in reception when I was checking into a hotel recently. They seemed obsessed with chess and were talking loudly about various contests they had won. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's chess nuts boasting in an open foyer.
