Even southerners manage to keep things going at -2. The metro is an absolute joke.
Entirely plausible, south gosforth is a built up area and the town moor is open land, each will have it's own microclimate
No yesterday when the metros went pear shapedWas that this morning?

I had the heaters on full throttle in the car!I was there too there everyday, luckily I arrived as the late metro just arrived so wasn't waiting too long.
Didn't feel that cold I had a hat and face warmer on though

Private company got a whack of that for their shareholders.Neither did Labour when they were in for 10 years.
The offer isn't short - it's what Nexus requested.
Nexus have had close enough to £1Bn in the last decade (including the latest money for new trains). Let that sink in.
I worked in the car sheds there in pre metro days. It is a cold spot. The sheds are almost 90 years old and bloody cold to work in.Like i said earlier i was is in South gosforth and car had -7.5C on thermometer
the Nexus bloke on the radio did say they had plans to change/redevelop the sheds but apparently trains have to sit outside as not enough space for them all.I worked in the car sheds there in pre metro days. It is a cold spot. The sheds are almost 90 years old and bloody cold to work in.
I know, it was always the case even in the dmu days. Pre metro it could often take over two hours to travel from my home in South Shields to Gosforth on public transport. They don’t know they are born today even when things sre bad, they are better than that.the Nexus bloke on the radio did say they had plans to change/redevelop the sheds but apparently trains have to sit outside as not enough space for them all.

They didn't like - it was direct spend on infrastructure

subject to major delays apparently
Did anyone ask him why it’s unreliable all year not just when it’s cold ??the Nexus bloke on the radio did say they had plans to change/redevelop the sheds but apparently trains have to sit outside as not enough space for them all.
Did anyone ask him why it’s unreliable all year not just when it’s cold ??
He did say that the trains are just too old and becoming unserviceableDid anyone ask him why it’s unreliable all year not just when it’s cold ??
Amazing how inept they are yet you are so reliant on itIts absolutely laughable they're using the size of their sheds as an excuse. Do they not have any idea how f***ing inept that makes them look?
I'm not. But glad you agree about them being ineptHe did say that the trains are just too old and becoming unserviceable
Amazing how inept they are yet you are so reliant on it
No I was just quoting you. If you aren't reliant on them you wouldn't be bumping your gums every day. Because you would be on alternative transport and wouldn't care one bitI'm not. But glad you agree about them being inept
