You make a very interesting point here Janey. They professed that him staying gave them hope. The promotion (£100 million spent) made him untouchable in their eyes.
He could easily relegate them before they realise he could be the problem.
 
rafa has 1 more point than mcclaren had after 15 games, mcclaren won game no 16 so if they fail to to win their next game it will be the mags worst start to season for 9 years (since the joe kinnear days).

Crap again today. Too much sitting back not pressuring the opposition, clearly tactical. Don't agree with that.
Complete lack of building up the play through the thirds. Two up front makes us easier to beat than we were at the start of the season..players seem to be trying but just aren't very good.
Shit show from all concerned today.

To be fair janey only the easily carried away social media type expected us to go and push for Europe. The same dafties that expected us unbeaten last season. The squad, as most real life people i discuss football with knew, was in need of a good striker and a quality creative midfielder at the very least. Paying £5m for a striker in this market gets you Joselu.

Slips into default mode. It was the rest of them, not me.
 
Just back and not impressed. Played the wrong team, made the wrong substitutions. It really is starting to look like, if you're Spanish you play. Perez own goal FFS. If the takeover happens, someone needs to take a close look at the entire set up.
