My only question is about his commitment to youth development - purely due to a lack of knowledge. It’s gonna be something that is key for the next fella so we can’t afford someone who refuses to think about youth.
We only get one good one every ten years and we sell them straight away so what's the point

Downing was the main instigator against him at Boro
Downing denied he caused any problems in the northern echo a week or two ago but also said he was happy playing again now Karanka had gone.I get the impression Karanka is a Big Sam style manager, just what we need to sort our problem players out.

It was info from an ex Boro player. He told me one hour before kick off last Tuesday night.
Obviously it wasn't announced the next day. Why? Who knows?

Maybe there was a problem.
A change of mind from one or both parties?
Maybe the ex Boro player lied. Though not sure why he would....

I was talking to an ex Sunderland player on a night out and he was telling me Charlie Austin had a helecopter landing for his medical on deadline day 2 year back and that Steven Fletcher was off to Swansea

Was 3am mind

Managed the Spanish U-16's for two years. Likely saw more than a few of his charges breaking into La Liga when at R. Madrid.
