The two guiding factors in the sentencing are the degree of culpability and the level of harm to the public revenues. Culpability in this case will be determined as medium (I would be surprised if it were high) the level of harm is yet to be assessed, if it's in the millions it will be bad news for those responsible.

Definitely correct the ltd company would be criminally investigated and bought to task. Obviously if employees who worked for the ltd company were found guilty they could well get custodial sentences. But it's the ltd company who stand the rap.

Fair play to MA - in his statement he makes it clear that he isn't wealthy enough to propel Newcastle much higher -..... which is true.

The big change from last time is that we now know there are 3 or 4 interested parties and some have done due diligence already.

The deferred payments acceptance by MA shows that he really wants out - by Christmas I reckon. The advantage of this would be that the rebuilding job could be brought forward by 6 months.

Lets hope its somebody with a bit more class (Not another Curry King or another purveyor of sports related garbage) - Don't really fancy having 'Wonga' on the strip again

That’s what most fans seem to want these days so why not? The league and football is already fucked so why not become a part of the overall picture?

Can honestly say hand on heart it’s not for me, fan of a german club whos fans are currently fighting against foreign investment that might ultimately lead to success but the fans lose the club.

Yes definitely. I've had a ltd company for years and it has its advantages but it's totally different to being a sole trader you need to make sure your accounts are correct. As for the level of harm time will tell.

100% this - its not about winning everything by buying players that can't even find Sunderland on a map. It's about havin a club that's yours, you love and enjoy watching - I could get used to mid table championship, enjoy the footie, couple of pints, the odd hint of cup run or even the occasional promotion. None of this sellong your soul to win

They will have it supposedly all sorted and sold by Christmas, we couldnt get it done in over 3 months. Our club is going down the pan. What concerns me is the silence from the club, nothing from Baines, or Short. Even with the position we are in and the discontent with the fans.
