Non League Football

I'm only going to the odd safc match now after being week in week out since early 80's. I've been offered tickets for Shields matches but wouldn't go to support them. I support safc changing allegiances to Shields is being a turncoat in my book and no better than many a plastic geordie in the early 90s

Sunderland historically has been the major club in county durham. No change to tyne and wear for a couple of decades should distort that.

My birth cert says, Sumderland. County Durham.

One in the eye for the Geordie sandies.
You do realise there's says Co Durham as well as South Tyneside and Gateshead were also part of it at that time?

It's like a get out of jail free card having Shields to watch after the years of shite served up at the SoL ! Think a lot of the Sunderland lads on here are jealous they're stuck watching said shite .

Oh and yes I am a band wagoner

Grown men, going on about supporting a FOOTBALL TEAM through thick and thin when it offers you absolutely nothing back in return and hasn’t for a long time and have the nerve to abuse people who think putting a few £££ into a Non League Club is more worthwhile. Pathetic.

It’s Ellis’ club, not yours.

Ha’way The Shields.
I spent 40 years following Sunderland, most of it as a season ticket holder. Piss all to show for it,apart from Reidys team its been same old same old, season in season out...Life is too short. Now I enjoy football again fkn hallelujah

Bore off with this mag shite.
Where is the Seaham Red Star thread?
One of the Lads mentioned on that thread as one of Seahams finest is going to Shields on Saturday. I got his tickets :lol:

Decent shields lads who support Sunderland will end up disliked because of you turncoat arseholes.
Who is that directed at? If it's me you have got it wrong. I've been going to Sunderland since 1972 and a season ticket holder for 32 years. Still like to see Shields do well.

If you have chosen to go and watch them tomorrow instead of the lads, yes.

Fuck me it gets worse, but then again not the first time we have had seaham turncoats.

Yes, Shields have good crowds of their own. Newcastle aren't at home and people in the town are interested.
So mags will make up the majority of the 2,600?
In that case I humbly apologise

Don't twist my words, but there will be a mix and it's a big cup game, like what happens with us when we go on a run, people who don't go, then do.
