He has done something's right, he's signed some good players for the money he has had, mcgeady, mcmamanan, Williams , he's also signed some shite ones. Judge a manager by xmas instead of after 10 games.
They could be good players, used in the correct manner. He has lost the respect I had, to think he will do this

I'll give you mcgeady. Mcmanaman is a crock. Williams is anarl. What about the other 7? He actually paid money for jason steele man. Pathetic.

I've been one of Grayson's vocal supporters on here, however his comments about why he dropped Ruiter, to these comments about the fans to the fact he can't get a one note tune out of his squad has me worried. We seem to have ended up with another duff.

Our managers have either been too confrontational (Keane, Di Canio & Poyet), semi retired/finished (MON, Dick, Moyes) or a guy who gets caught out after a couple of years with his every club (Bruce). Who knows what would have happened within Allardyce.

I thought we had something different in Grayson, a guy who knew this league and would at least make us competitive. So far he looks the most clueless of them all.
Good post and nail on head.

Mcmanaman is only a crock if he misses loads of games for us, he's only missed 1 so far. I've already said he's made some shit 1's

I don't see why he's said that!
People are bound to moan as we're shit
We haven't won for feckin ages man

Also - people who aren't watching the team - he should be drawing them back in and wooing them almost not alienating them more

Short has plenty. Of course 'we ' can afford it...but Short is hellbent on doing this new blunder all his own way.
Its doing things his own way that is largely responsible for the position hes found himself in now. Had he admitted to himself that he knew nothing of how to run a football club and sought out people that actually did, we may not be in this situation now.

I know he hasn't been given the best of hands to play but he's making a right cow's arse out of what he has got. And blaming fans for anything is not a good idea. It's not the fans fault the team looks dis-jointed and mentally weaker than watered down piss, regardless of whether they go the game.

As an aside, anyone got a spare for tomorrow? Cheers.
