I'm pretty similar, but was more confident against Huddersfield and Swansea. I'm enjoying the present, but I know full well that come the end of the season we're more likely to be in the bottom 7 than the top. We're a few injuries to key men away from having to play the likes of Diame and Colback. e.g.

Spot on Lack of an effective striker at this level and not much strength in depth will see us struggle. Getting points on the board early is a big help. A win today would have us probably a third of the way to safety.

I cant understand this thread at all tbh,
nufc are in the top half of the prem (playing , man u/man city/spurs etc with a good manager & a owner who splashes the cash )
we are in the bottom half of the champ (playing boro/pne/burton etc with a shit manager & a owner who wont give any money out & wants nothing at all to do with the club & would sell in a heartbeat)

how is there even a argument ? no matter what happens nufc will be playing superior football until the season closes , you can drag up any old shit from years ago but sorry like, low attendances, shit team, shit manager i would die to be in there position right now, fwiw i think they will win today also, ffs , its embarrassing how you lot (posters) try " hang on to stuff" dragging up shit from the past, its the "here & now" man ffs, every time my mags mates say " not doing well are ya " i just say " aye, absolute shit mate" still, i still think my 1.2 corsa is faster than you're 3.0 jaguar:rolleyes:, have some decorum man & chat about this shit when we are in the same league ffs:rolleyes:

Looking at the team we will be set up to give Brighton most of the ball and do them on the break. Be like the Swansea game imo. Don't think our luck will hold today though.

Same as we did against Spurs, Huddersfield, West Ham and Stoke too. Don't think we've had over 50% possession yet. I'm not confident of a win because I think Hughton drills his teams well, they've a match winner in Knockaert and there's bound to be some overconfidence/complacency in our young team.

Love to see Diame pop up with the winner in the 90th minute by tripping over his laces and tumbling into a ground based scorpion kick, mind.

He definitely intended the one he scored last season. No doubt

He has to go. We need a proper manager like Moyes or if we can prise him away from his current position, Grayson

Rafa's signings this summer

Joselu 7m - shit and couldn't have scored if he was still playing now. Equally shit last week. Simply shit.

Lejeune 9m - knackered, in no rush to get back, looked poor anyway.

Manquillo 5m - shit (as we warned) and dropped already for yedlin on one side and a centre back on the other.

Murphy 10m - so shit he can't ever get 5 minutes from the bench when they are one down. They brought a 30 something year old full back on who's played about twice in two years.

And they wonder why nasty Mike won't give Wor Rafa money to spend.

Without the benefit of inheriting a decent squad or being given blank cheques he's a busted flush. His signings this season are by and large questionable.

He's almost always had a reliance on signing enough players to ensure that not all are duds. The amount of chod he's bought in his career is laughable.

Bought promotion with the best players not good enough for the pl and is now being found out big time.
