Fans who hate Newcastle more than they support Sunderland

Sunderland really needs Newcastle as it has absolutely no identity of its own. Completely lacking any kind of soul. Arrive into Sunderland train station, then take a few steps outside.....horrific and stagnant decay.

Absolutely brilliant comment - total perspective - we were out last night with the wives a mag couple and a mackem couple got pissed together laughed about the footy watched MOTD in the pub and parted still the very best of friends - life man it's life get on with it you haters.

Not true....... Sunderland without a shadow of doubt has its own identity and is the trail blazer for the rest of the north east, to celebrate their own identity. Places like Gateshead, South shields, Hebburn, Jarrow, Washington, Houghton.... etc etc are all towns in their own right. They can be proud of their past and their future and don't have to lose their identity in a giant amalgamation into tooncastle........

Been to Seaham Harbour today and there was a middle aged mag walking along the sea front with a scarf that his mam could have knitted. Thought to myself ' I wonder if he would have that on if they weren't doing so well'. Funny how they seem to be seen when it suits them.
 
Their latest result and the subsequent reaction just confirms it for me !

Pretty much like every skunk in here!

I don't hate Newcastle more than i love Sunderland despite the skunks giving me plenty of reasons to do so

Used to be like this, but now I live in Newcastle most of the year and I'm constantly surrounded by Mags, including most of my mates, Ive become proper obsessed and hate seeing Newcastle do well :lol:

Im assuming as most of your mates are mags its more a) for banter and b) to save face than actual hatred though?

Yeah it's for the banter obviously and any abuse aimed at mates is firmly tongue in cheek and I expect to take the abuse back. But it's still hatred. Never enjoyed a night more then when you got relegated after we played Everton at home etc...
