Fans who hate Newcastle more than they support Sunderland

The rivalry is intense between the clubs. But in all honesty that is all it is. In Sunderland, we are seen as the poor relation and we are marginalised. But the Safc fans reaction to the tragic mh17 flight showed there are bigger things in the world than football. The nufc fans have been brilliant for little Bradley lowery. Fair play to them.
Hate is a strong word, and its sensible for your own constitution not to hang onto feelings of hate

Aye, I enjoy it when your club struggles a bit, but wouldn't want Sunderland AFC to go out of business. I enjoy it when your fans are miserable, but I wouldn't want them to be driven from their club by bad ownership like Blackpool or Charlton fans. But you're still downtrodden fans of a well supported northern football club with notable history. We have far more in common than that which divides us

The week around a derby is a different situation though.
