Think exactly the same at away games. You've travelled away to back your club and the first thing you do is think of the mags and sing anti mag songs. I find it rather sad actually.
 

The 90's intensified people's hatred towards them .Growing up supporting Sunderland whilst having them bastards rammed down your kneck 24hrs a day was unbearable.Thats why Shearer taking them down that time rates as one of the most euphoric in my 40 years of walking this earth .
Hatred has petered off a lot since then ,age is a factor but also they don't seem as unbearable.

Better than singing about going on the piss with Cattermole, but only when he dies.

This chant is odd for numerous reasons least off all the following:

1. It's a direct rip off of Man Utd's chant for George Best. This made sense because A. He's passed away and B. He was a reknowned heavy drinker/ loved a night out.

2. Why wait until Cattermole is dead when you could go out for a drink with him now? Although I could think of millions of other people I'd rather go on the piss with before choosing Cattermole.

3. Our fans believe there is still a "rotten core" at the club of which you'd assume rightly or wrongly Cattermole is part of. After all Catts is usually pictured with a drink and was arrested in Newcastle with Bendtner and accused of damaging parked cars. If fans detest this sort of behaviour so much, why sing about it? I guess it's only an issue at certain times.

It's quite possibly the worst chant ever created (copied). Probs started by the same lads that brought us such classics like the Rangers had no money nor even a ball rip. Shite.

Dislike them but could never say I hate them or any other team for that matter. Honestly could never hate someone because they support a different football team to me and find people that do a bit weird to tell the truth. I'll admit I dislike them more currently due to them doing well and us being shite and i do have a grudging respect for the numbers they pull in as I don't believe there's another club anywhere that could pull in 50 odd thousand supporters every week having won nowt of note since the 1950s :lol:

Aside from that the one thing you know and can take some comfort from is that the next meltdown from them is always just around the corner.

The odd pop at the mags makes me snigger but too much makes us look obsessed with em imo whereas I couldn't give two fooks.

Singing you'll never walk alone to the mancs makes me laugh :D
