Shearer was stronger. Better in the air and there was nowt wrong with his technique. Good heading and fantastic technique to bullet shots in from all angles, accurate and powerful. Not as deft a touch as Kane. He was easily one of the best centre forwards I've seen.

Shearer was immense at Blackburn, his all round game was 1st class and without the two big injuries would probably of had another 40 or 50 goals. Mag or not he was a class player who dominated at league level.

Just watched a few youtube videos of Shearer and Sheringham, if the Mags had broken the bank so to speak and bought Teddy to partner Shearer they would have been unstoppable imo, they had an almost telepathic link.
