Grayson Out

Or, at least one that provided a better chance of a win. We played on the break, at home to a side, playing on the break.

Did he? I only saw snatches of the game on some shitty feed but the little I did see suggested we tried to be more composed on the ball, slower build ups. As I say, I wasn't there so no more argument from me.

Pardew Pearson and most other decent managers will not touch us till after Xmas, by then we will see how far this yes man can get us up or down in the championship,
Please understand Ellis will not sack Si till after Xmas no matter what happens
He won't sack him ever, it will cost money to sack him.

We maybe in a mess but we are a massive club with fantastic facilities and fans most clubs would love to have. I'm sure many managers would take the job if offered and the ones that turn it down don't have the balls to take on the rebuild.

I think Grayson is a decent bloke but I also said at the time that this club is too big for him. He has been brought in to steady the ship nothing more.

I agree we need the football club to do some homework for once and find a young hungry manager to manage the football side of things and to organize the team, and fast!

They came for a point and he tried to catch them on the counter attack, despite a 20 yard gulf between striker and midfield for most of the game and them getting 10 behind the ball. It was barmy.

Amateur stuff mate.

He always starts season's badly, and pretty much always turns it around.

Not sure what he was playing at wanting to work with Browning again. Rumour was that he asked PNE to re-sign him on loan in summer before he left and our hierarchy blocked it. Such a half-arsed defender.

That is nonsense and a desperate comment to make. I remember our fans deluding themselves into thinking the same when Moyes was here.

He's a cheap yes man, so won't get sacked.
This is the biggest job he'll ever get, so won't quit.

We're fucked until Short goes, and there doesn't look to be any sign of that happening soon.

I think Browning has defended well so far this season, even last night he had a good game defensively apart from his massive howler. He is awful with the ball at his feet mind

How did you set up under Grayson and who were your strikers? I think 4-5-1 is the best fit for us last night but we aren't going to score enough goals with Grabban and / or Vaughan and neither of them holds the ball up well enough. I have no idea why we signed both of them when we are crying out for a target man type striker

It is aye but calling for getting rid of the manager this early is pathetic and wildly ignorant of what has gone before
Ignorant of what has gone before? Have you forgotten just last season the same things were being said "we can't keep sacking managers" so we stuck with one who clearly didn't have a clue when if we had acted we may have stood a chance. We need to learn from that mistake - if we don't pick up in the next few games, Grayson will have to go IMO. We may be shit, but I still believe with the right man in charge we are not that shit to fall staight through this division.

BUT what would be the better option lose even more money over the next 3 months or try one more time and BSA would come back

On the flip side, before that, we've sacked managers and all its done is slow the march to eventual relegation.

I'm not advocating keeping a manager no matter what, but quite how some people still seem to think a new manager will spell the end of all of our troubles is beyond me. It goes far deeper than that and adding to the disruption only worsens matters in the long run.
