Need to drive Ellis out of Sunderland.

You have to be in a position where you can invest that money coming in. With us it's going straight to servicing the debt.Any new owner coming in will have to either pay off or service the same debt. It took Southampton years and going into League One to get to a position where they could begin to spend money again. We've got more debt and are a hugely less attractive package overall.

It's far more complicated than let's have a riot and things will improve. Acting without thinking is almost guaranteed to turn out badly. I'm not saying don't do anything, I'm saying think about consequences of actions.

Who do you think covers the losses every year?
SBC.
Got a link to say he saved us from administration?
I bet you can post one which relates to our 130M debt

Which are? What is happening now is a road to worst case scenario....a new owner coming in could help change that trajectory.

I was wondering when the blame would get shifted and there it is. He had DofF's running the show for several years under his own watch, meddling in who got bought and sold. Look where that got us.

Which was a reaction to the appalling buys previous managers had made left to their own devices.

Aye, and it worked brilliantly. We got shitter players for comparable fees on enormous wages.

Would have helped if he hadn't appointed his mate's son.

It doesn't happen if the money is spent better previously. Actions, consequences. The trail has to be followed to the beginning.

I still think that was the crazy decision which set us on the downward trajectory we are still on. Other managers had been and failed, but we've just never recovered from that Director of Football bollocks under De Fanti and then Congerton. Mates' sons, clowns like Congerton who couldnt hack coaching and wrecked Hamburg, moneyball, part time basketball researchers, all squarely at Short's door.

Not at all, just absolutely baffled how any sunderland fan can stick up for him, he's the root cause of all the shit at Sunderland.
Some of us have been saying this for years and were ridiculed every week, looks like the tide has turned, finally.

Exactly, now we are tumbling towards our worst position in 30 years. This is even worse than the final Bob Murray seasons.

Remember all the stick people were giving that lad who made is mouth go at the charity dinner? Where are those people now eh.
Or what about @FIVE who slated àny bad word against Short?
What do you think now eh?
Those defending him are part of the f***ing problem
Tit

You're confusing thinking about potential consequences to running the bloke out of town as sticking up for him.

To find the root cause you have to look at what brought him to the club in the first place imho.

Mistake after mistake after mistake. Jobs for unqualified mates. People not having a clue how to do their jobs properly. Shitty penny pinching whilst at the same time paying off executives to take the wrap for more shit decisions. Even failing to support the lasses for absolute peanuts. This is the worst position the club has been in in my lifetime. All after getting record money in. 10 years of decomposing turgid shite. You can't blame anyone other than constant one overseeing it all.

I can't see any negative potential consequences, genuinely.
He saw the opportunity of a quick buck and has blown it, he is now putting the position of the club in peril as he attempts to claw back money he's lost through his own awful decisions.

Haway you mean.. .. you are irrelevant.
And you still can't admit that you were a f***ing tit, coward.
