That wouldn't make Vaughan a goalscorer.
True. He should never have been signed. They'd lift the place though. The club is rotting.

And tbh, I'm surprising myself at saying get them in. I know they're a couple of dinosaurs really but we are in dire straits.

We are in big trouble. And I have great respect for Reid and Ball. But they're in the past.

So you'd get rid of Grayson already I take it?

I wouldn't have appointed him. TBH, I don't think he's up to it but I'd give him a few more games. I'm not sure sacking him now would help, especially with a lack of viable candidates elsewhere.

He had Preston in midtable last year, surely he could do that for us. That'd be as good as this season would get. We are miles off promotion.

He was as good an appointment as we could realistically have made. But he's struggling, no doubt.

It's always the answer and manager churn has absolutely nothing to with our current predicament.

Give it Giggsy to the end of the season
Apart from PF's resident loony spouting this can you give me any reason why you think Giggseh has the experience or skills to carry out this role?
Whoopeee do he played under a very savvy manager in a very successful and expensively assembled team.
Probably mark hughes is the only ex man utd player to have made a reasonably successful transition to management.
The rest of them have all been utter dogshite.

Obviously never seen his last few stints as caretaker manager then

He wasn't given a chance. He also changed the playing system to a more conventional 4-4-2. Play was tidy with promise if the right players could be brought in.

The first time as caretaker, he took over from Mick McCarthy who'd tried to put together a squad based on virtually zero cash to compete in the Premiership.
